Sunshine and flowers
Yesterday I started to make a flower cushion. I was reading Lucy's blog (attic 24) and saw she had a pattern for a blooming flower cushion. It was so pretty I decided to give it a go. Very easy and quick to make especially with Lucy's instructions.
This is my effort so far

It's such a beautiful day, it makes you believe that soon there will be lots of pretty flowers in the garden soon. My little quiet corner is catching the Sun today as you can see but still a little on the cool side to sit and enjoy it for too long.
My mum made me a lovely tub of narcissi up at Christmas. They are now starting to poke through the soil. Surely that means spring is on its way? ?

Finished
All done. Have to admit to being glad. It's been getting quite heavy to move around and warm on my legs.
I love it though. So warm to snuggle under. I've added some photos. I've tried to show how I edged two sides in a paler colour to the other two sides.

Yes ! Yes! Yes!
I Have finished my stripy granny blanket. Whoop whoop whoop!
Am so happy.
Will put a pic on later. Have edged it with 6 rows of granny stitch all the way round.
Lovely laying under it tonight. It's very cold. ..wind is gusting outside! Brrrr.
Now to think of a new project. Something smaller I think.
